DB Drive X-Series car speakers for New Zealand vehicles, in coaxial and component configurations.
The range covers 5.25 inch two-way at 200W RMS, 6.5 inch two-way at 240W RMS, 6.5 inch component sets at 250W RMS, and 6x9 three-way at 400W RMS, all supplied in pairs. Coaxial speakers have the tweeter mounted in the centre of the woofer and drop straight into a factory speaker location. Component sets separate the tweeter, which lets you mount it higher in the door or on the pillar and lifts the soundstage.
Check your factory speaker size and mounting depth before ordering. Adding Q-Mat sound deadening to the door at the same time is worth doing, since a resonating door panel will undo a lot of what a new speaker gives you.
