Cameras come in wired and wireless, with bracket, flush and butterfly mounting options and viewing angles from 160 to 170 degrees. Some include moving guide lines. Monitors split into mirror monitors that clip over or replace your rear-view mirror, and dash-mounted screens from 5 inch up to 9 inch, with three and four camera inputs for multi-camera installs.
If you want the simplest path, a camera and monitor kit ships matched and ready to install. If you are building up a system or adding to an existing one, check signal compatibility first: AHD cameras need AHD monitors, and PAL and NTSC are not interchangeable.
